"God does not play dice with the universe; He plays an ineffable game of His own devising which might be compared, from the perspective of the players (i.e., everybody), to being involved in an obscure and complex version of poker in a pitch-dark room, with blank cards, for infinite stakes, with a Dealer who won't tell you the rules and who smiles all the time.”
-- Neil Gaiman / Terry Pratchett
Many people spend their lives searching for their purpose; I am one of the fortunate few who knows the exact reason they were born and exactly what they are here to accomplish. I happen to be rather good at it, though I have a long, long way to go.
First, Hostility:
This is not intended to be used as a two-way form of communication. I don't "friend" anyone that I do not know in real life, I don't usually read comments, I don't explain anything, I don't care if anyone gets my jokes, and I have zero tolerance for Internet drama. I do not write about my personal life, ever.
On the other hand, I sometimes post free downloadable RPGs and LARPs, and I've been told that my writing style and sci-fi reviews can be entertaining. I post whatever it occurs me to post; if you find these posts entertaining, you are welcome to add me to your reading list (or, in LJ's ill-considered parlance, "friend" me).
All of my posts are public.
Then, Hospitality:
There is a FAQ in my memories. I suggest perusing it before commenting on this journal.
I do have a "wishlist." Send donations in my name to one of the following charities: African Wild Dog Conservancy, Boston Living Center, amFAR Foundation for AIDS Research.
Next, Assistance:
Reading these websites has a non-zero chance of helping you make yourself a better person.
